Week 4 EOC: Theres an APP for that

If i were to make an App for my iphone the app i would invent would be an automatic ATIS for pilots. ATIS is an automatic terminal information service for pilots the review and release information upon a certain airports weather information, which runways are active, available approaches, and any other information required by the pilots, including notams.Usually the way the pilots listen to atis would be through the headset in the aircraft and dialing it in on the radios. I think this would be a very essential and easier if not safer approach to finding airport information while flying the aircraft to receive vital information. Pilots have a lot to do while flying aircraft and how easy would it be to just take out your phone or pull out an i pad and click on the state your flying in and the airport you are flying to and all the information you would need for landing at the airport is all at the palm of your hand. The iATIS™ app and the ATIS Wheel is the product of ATP pilot, Carl Dworman, CFIIA 1793666, S&MEL&S+R. "Offered on the iATIS™ app display (though not offered in the ATIS broadcast) is an input to display the airport FIELD ELEVATION which is critical for instrument approaches. Additionally, the iATIS™  app clearly displays the visual relationship between the wind direction and the active runway.  In addition to informing the pilot as to the existing velocity of the wind, the iATIS™ app also calculates and displays headwind and cross-wind components for both takeoff and landing".http://iatisapp.com/about.html. Me as a private pilot a am glad that an app like this exist to make the work flow inside the aircraft easier. The iATIS™ app has fourteen important data information displays. Each topic on the display side of the iATIS™ app coincides with the sequential information reported by the tower in the airport terminal area's ATIS broadcast. This broadcast information is first entered on the data input screen which is on the obverse page of the iATIS™ main display.http://iatisapp.com/about.html. This app alone is very essential to pilots and a must have in my opinion for every pilot to carry or have on them but never exclude the fact that they still must listen to the radio atis that is transmitted over the frequency to make sure that they have received the information correctly.Once the information is entered into the iATIS™ data entry screen, the information is now available on the front screen of the iATIS™  app for continued reference without the possibility of transcription error or forgetting the pertinent ATIS data. (It is recommended that the pilot listen to the pre-recorded ATIS information twice to verify that the correct information has been entered on the data entry side of the  iATIS™ app).http://iatisapp.com/about.html.

week 3 EOC 2

Here is three great and in my opinion awesome organizations that with half of there profits or if not all goes to charity.

1. Here is a organization or company that takes antique shows or auctions and turns them into charity profits. In my opinion i think this is a really good and profitable idea because with all the popularity in antique shows on TV also shows like Pawn Stars and Pickers and many other popular shows that just blew up with popularity. Not only are the auctions and antique shows fun to go to but can also bring in lots of money and also bring life to very treasurer-able pieces from past century.Melrose & Johns has several objectives.  One is to provide a successful venue for dealers to profit.  Another is to help charities to reinvigorate established shows, or to revive dead ones.  We must also present antiques to a new generation of buyers in this rapidly-changing 21st century marketplace.http://www.melrosejohns.com/fundraiser.html

2. Here is another GREAT!!! organization for low income students to be able to get instruments and use them in class or music schools. Ear Candy is a non profit organization that helps bring to the low income family's music class and instruments to be able to use and be educated in the arts ware the budget cuts and kids unable to participate can and affordabley continue the education. "Ear Candy Charity is based in Phoenix, AZ and our mission is to Provide Youth Access to Music Education.  Arizona is currently 49th out of 50 states in per person educational funding and arts programs are the first to get cut.  We fulfill our mission through Instrument Drives®, Backstage Class® field trips and Community Partnerships:
Instrument Drives®: To address budget shortfalls in Music programming, Ear Candy created Instrument Drives® to collect gently used instruments for children who otherwise cannot afford them. The process is simple: Individuals from the community donate instruments at valley Fire Stations, Ear Candy collects the instruments and then works collaboratively with schools to place them in the hands of low income students. The Journey of the Instrument is completed when the original donor is notified of the school or program where the instrument they donates has been placed". http://www.earcandycharity.org/Our-Mission.aspx

3.  I like this next organization because it really hits on the topic of breast cancer to the young generation. By providing something hip and trendy and an easy way of identifying the awareness of breast cancer this non profit organization really does a good job of that specially with the younger generations and explains how serious this disease is and also what a better way to spread through the most popular social networking generation out there. "The Keep A Breast Foundation™ is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to help eradicate breast cancer by exposing young people to methods of prevention, early detection and support. Through art events, educational programs and fundraising efforts, we seek to increase breast cancer awareness among young people so they are better equipped to make choices and develop habits that will benefit their long-term health and well-being".http://www.keep-a-breast.org/about/#mission

week 3 EOC 1

As being part of the Millennial generation I found it to be very fast passed and very accurate about the information given that explains how Millennial's  are being involved into today's world.''One thing that all of the Millennials have in common is their utter fluency and comfort with digital technology.'' Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition pg.74.When i was growing up all i could remember is how to find out information was to go online or if i wanted to play a game it was a game on the computer. “All generations are comfortable with technology, but this is the generation that’s been formed by technology,” says a Yahoo! executive. For them, “it’s not something separate. It’s just something they do. Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition pg.74. As i get older and the next generation that proceeds me i think and believe that it would be an everyday life of using a computer and everything will get bigger and better in technology and every single human being will use and understand the newest technology out. A recent study found that 91 percent of Millennials are on the Web, making up 32 percent of all U.S. Internet users. According to another study, 77 percent of Millennials frequent social networking sites and 71 percent use instant messaging.Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition pg.74.

Great Customer Service

I had a pretty good customer service experience that I would like to share with everyone that I think should be practiced with every company. A year ago around this time I had to short sale on my house due to the recession and because I didn’t want a foreclosure on my record, so I hired a real-estate company century 21 to do all the hard work for me. The two young ladies that took on this daunting project were two of the most nicest, patient, well determined ladies I have ever met. It took almost two years to finally sell my house well under what I bought it for and all the hell and turmoil to finally get it off my record. These two ladies went through offers after offers, denies, cancellations, and the worst of all HOA to finally say OK its offer able to a market. After all said and done it still wasn’t over, towards the end we were well under our budget to finalize the paperwork so these ladies offered there part of the money that was left from the sale to just get this thing done with a small return fee from me witch I thought was amazing. Just every step of the way they were there for me from daily phone calls to just sticking with the case even after two years and for fitting there  part of the money just to finalize everything and sell it. I think if every company believed in there customers as they did there would be very successful companies in the market and very happy loyal customers.
